This is the first time I am buying foundation and I would like one that will leave me satisfied. Right now I am undecided about xpert face shimmer it has a lot of good rating. Which one is the best foundation?Mark makeup, which is the best foundation they sell?

It depends mainly on what type of coverage you'd like and what would be best for your skin type. The face xpert face shimmer is not a foundation, but more of a highlighter. It is used to give you that ';glowy'; look. My personal favorite foundation from mark is the Powder Buff powder foundation. It gives you nice, sheer coverage that will cover minor imperfections but still leave you looking natural. It's good if you have normal or oily skin, but powders usually are not the best choice if you have dry skin, as they can look flakey. The Face Xpert foundation is a liquid that will also give you sheer to medium coverage. It is best for normal or dry skin, since it is a liquid and won't absorb any oils from your skin. I like Speedway too, which can be applied sheerly or more thickly as a concealer. It's a small stick, so it can be easily carried with you on the go.
if you're unsure about what type to buy i would suggest going to Ulta Cosmetics or Sephora and let the sales clerk help you find the right shade and brand of foundation. i went to Sephora for help in finding concealer. the ones i bought myself never seemed to be right so the sales clerk found one for me that worked perfect. if you're not satisfied with the first pick let the girl know. they are trained to help find the right product and that isn't always the first product in your hand.
It really depends on what your needs, skin type, times that you need to wear it, weather and your chemistry.





I have been using makeup since I was in basic Training in the Air Force in 1979 and almost never stick with the same makeup because I like to marry them (Mix them together) since I have a reddish tint to my skin and I have yet to find something that is near my color.





The best way to tell if it is working is if you can see a makeup line under your chin.

on foundations it's better to splurge and buy an expensive one. i'd reccomend bobbi brown. dont get anything too heavy; less is more.
