I have acne/postacne marks on my cheeks and enlarged pores what kinda makeup can i use to cover up?

i want to wear makeup but i also want it to look natural and not caky but i have a 20$ a week allowance what kinda makeup can i useI have acne/postacne marks on my cheeks and enlarged pores what kinda makeup can i use to cover up?
Neutrogena makes a decent make-up that will cover your skin fairly well. If you can get MAC studio tech it will cover everything- it is the best for full coverage and will cost anywhere from $30 to $36 dollars for a compact that should last at least 2 months (a little goes a long way) but be warned, MAC is so heavy that it will clog your pores and could make any acne that you have worse.

Another option that you can consider is getting a microdermabrasion. This treatment is like a sandblasting for the skin, and can diminish the scars from acne while removing debris from your pores and making them appear smaller since they will be free of debris and your skin will look and feel smooth.

To best hide wearing make-up, be sure to get the color that most closely matches your skin so that you don't have that line near your neck (the line of demarcation) and blend well. Good luck,I have acne/postacne marks on my cheeks and enlarged pores what kinda makeup can i use to cover up?

If you鈥檙e looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

I use Sheer Cover and its GREAT!! It comes with the concealer, two foundations and a finishing powder and its all minerals. It comes with a powder brush and you just swirl it on...I love it and it and it looks VERY natural....Try it.....And it will not clog your pores and will cover all imperfections...It's 39.95 I believe and it comes to your door and you get a shipment every two months...I love it and will never use anything different!
dont wear make up till you have used proactive it will clear up your acne and reduce your pores
Mineral foundation.

You can also save up your allowance and have some microdermabrasion.
Well, save up your allowance for about 3 weeks, and I suggest you try these products there are well worth it. I am not sure how old you are as to exactly what products would be best for you. I would recommend the Mary Kay Microdermabrasion set, it is $55. It help reduce the pore size. And for the foundation I use the Mary Kay Medium Cover foundation.

I too have the same problem as you, and it is amazing how much these products helped and changed the appearance of my complexion.

I found that Bare Minerals works really good. I tried Proactiv and it didn't work. I also took Accutane when I was younger and got some results but not complete.
Cover girl concealer and pressed powder. Here's what you do, get a concealer and powder that matches your skin tone and a good concealer brush. Brush the concealer on the marks and pores (less is more). Then powder only your t-zone and the areas where you've applied concealer. Cover Girl make up is a great basic makeup you can find at any drug store for a good bargin. Save on the makeup, splurge on the brush.
I use a pressed powder by Clinique. I have used their products for about three years and really love their nice little compact powder, it works really well for me. It seems to cover up my imperfections pretty well, and hides oily spots on your face. Since I have fair skin, I use gentle glow 2 which seems to work well for my face type. To figure out which shade would be best for you go to your nearest Clinique counter or go online to www.clinique.com to ask one of the servers for advice. This powder runs about $18.00 but lasts a long time which keeps you from running back for more. Another great thing to try for acne and scarring on your face is Clinique's airbrush concealer, it also works well at hiding imperfections. I hope this helps and good luck!!!! :)
Use a concealer. I use Maybelline Pure. It comes in a little pencil-like container. Then on top of that I use the Myabelline PurePowder.
Try a women's multivitamin. I have tried proactive and all those other cleansers when I went through an acne stage. NOTHING worked. A friend got me into vitamins for energy boosts and this cleared up my face majorly. I was amazed. Just make sure to drink plenty of water. Oh, and for a good concealer in the meantime, try Revlon Colorstay. It is a little pricey, $8.00-$12.00, but it works great and will stay on all day.

Should i try 24-hour/water resisient makeup to cover up my leg stretch marks when i wear skirts.?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

i hate having Stretch marks......im so skinny and i don't know where they are coming from...please help me...idk wat i can wear when i go to the pool over the summer i don't want ppl looking at me.

thankz-a-bunchShould i try 24-hour/water resisient makeup to cover up my leg stretch marks when i wear skirts.?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
you could try it! always worth a shot, and if it doesnt work or doesnt look good then youll know it doesnt workShould i try 24-hour/water resisient makeup to cover up my leg stretch marks when i wear skirts.?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Try bio oil to start repairing this: http://www.bio-oil.info/en/home

Also you could use a rich vitamin E cream like the ones that are recommended to pregnant mums, to keep the skin soft and less likely to mark during sudden growth, if it happens again.

In the meantime yes water resistant makeup might work, but how embarrassing if it rubbed off? What about a really gentle moisturiser with a drop of fake tan in it, like Nivea Sunkissed. http://www.ciao.co.uk/Nivea_Body_Sunkiss鈥?/a>

That should give a gentle tan to the stretches, that you can easily control without going streaky.
I've used palmers cocoa butter for pregnant women and that's whats worked best for my stretch marks. I'm not a big girl either and I hate the stretch marks that i had!
Itz a shot , bcause U DO NOT want peepz looking at your stretch marks
Hi. I have the same problem. I use Apre Cosmetics to cover mine. Waterproof %26amp; Cheap!! And it works thank god. They have a website.
yeah......you could try it! It may or may not work, you will just have to try it yourself and see!
Sally Hansen: Airbrush Legs

It's good if you stay out of the water....idk of anything else but please dont feel bad because you have stretch marks....they are partially genetic along with spider vains!
Yeah you could try it...don't worry too much about your stretch marks. Almost EVERY girl gets them, it's from growing...it has nothing to do with weight most the time. I had some on my thighs and they totally faded and you can't even see them now.
aparently the cream you get for recent mothers in chemists to banish strtech marks is very good
i used to have them on my thighs also, but its just a part of growing up. ahh, the joys of being a woman :)
Yeah, go ahead and try it.

(Btw, being skinny doesn't mean you're less prone to stretch marks. Paris Hilton even has them. Icky stretch marks, I have them too, come from overconsumption of refined sugars. Basically, stay away from junkfood and start exercising to minimize the look of stretch marks.)

Red marks left after taking Roaccutane. Makeup tips?

I have been on Roaccutane for 5 months now, I have 1 month left. I haven't had a pimple for about 2 months. I have no pimples whatsoever. The only thing that is bothering me now are the red marks I have left. I don't have any scarring, my skin isn't indented at all, it's just flat red spots.

I've been putting aloe vera on them (Straight from the plant) and I also sometimes put vitamin e oil on them from the capsules.

I wanted to know if there was a way to cover them with makeup, whilst still looking natural. I don't want to have to wear heaps of makeup, but I want good coverage too...otherwise it would just look worse! I'm not a huge fan of makeup so it is my last resort. I've never worn foundation or powders in my life! No idea how to apply it. I'm 17.

Thanks.Red marks left after taking Roaccutane. Makeup tips?
maybe this will help....

http://youtube.com/watch?v=7noyR7wnxEoRed marks left after taking Roaccutane. Makeup tips?
you best bet would be to use a foundation with green undertones which will get rid of the red but you have to be careful when using itbecuz it is very easy to go over board with it and than you look like you have sea sickness. (you'll look like you belong in a cartoon)

Does airbrush makeup cover deep stretch marks seamlessly?

Ok i have lots and lots of stretch marks bid white/silver ones (I am dark skinned African American by the way) on my arms and chest, red lifted ones on my hips and butt and a few red ones on the back of my legs as well. I am trying different things to get rid of them but as we all know it takes a while to see any improvement meanwhile bikini season is fast approaching. I am thinking of buying an airbrush kit to cover the stretch marks and I was wondering if they are indeed effective and any one uses this method to cover their stretch marks. Which are the best waterproof airbrush makeup out there and what kit would you recommend.

Thank youDoes airbrush makeup cover deep stretch marks seamlessly?
I would try, BioOil, instead of airbrush makeup

This will improve the appearance of stretch marks, and then you could use some make-up to cover up the rest of it.

Sally Hansens ';Airbrush Legs'; You can use it one your whole body. And it's waterproof! Its makeup for you body and its awesome! Sold at drugstores. It's about $10.Can i get body makeup at cvs for like scars birth marks, etc?
I doubt it, airbrush wont do the job its too sheer, there's something called dermablend its a makeup, almost like a paste that you can use to cover up tattoos, birthmarks, scars, etc... you can get them at any ulta store. Can i get body makeup at cvs for like scars birth marks, etc?
yes but why would you want to cover up your birthmark? Its unique and it makes you who you are
  • Mini Scooter
  • Is there any makeup i can use to cover up stretch marks?

most def not bare minerals.. i saw that answer up there. i SWEAR by Dermablend the product. it's made especially for covering scars, burns, stretchmarks, etc. found in department stores (macy's)/ beauty suppliers like Ulta, etc.Is there any makeup i can use to cover up stretch marks?
u could us cover up to do that it work trust me.Is there any makeup i can use to cover up stretch marks?
You could probably use the same make-up as you do your face. Foundation.
gold bond makes lotions to get rid of that
when i had gotten my cast off i had really bad strech marks. i used utterly smooth or there's something called shea and co-co butters from utterly smooth., they are really good for even tiny strech marks. the marks go away in about 1 week!!!!!!!!

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you looking for a quick fix? Cause if not, you should check out Palmer's Cocoa Butter FOR stretch marks. Its genius.
Coco butter is good, but pure virgin coconut OIL is amazing. It got rid of mine. You can get it at health food stores.
I agree with heather, dermablend is the best and its water proof so you can swim with it, i used it after i had my baby, i have them on my bottom and i can go to the beach and not worry about anyone seeing them!!!!
    bare mineral
As opposed to covering them up, I'd try and minimise thier appearance by rubbing Vitamin E oil into them, or Palmer's Coca Butter Formula for stretch marks.

If you have a stretch mark that really needs coverage, use a well blended amount of foundation or concealer and cover with a light dusting of powder to keep it in tact.

What is a good makeup that covers up scars or pock marks?

I use Dinair airbrush makeup and i know they have a product called perfect skin. It fills in your scars making them skin level again. Then you spray the makeup over and it helps make them disappear. I'm not sure if it will work under other types of makeup..but you might wanna try. If you type Dinair into google you will find their website. Just give them a call and ask. It cant hurt right? Hope this helps. What is a good makeup that covers up scars or pock marks?
I use clinique oil control powder... it's great- it covers everything, it looks natural and it doesn't melt by midday. :) good luck. What is a good makeup that covers up scars or pock marks?
put some chap stick on the area, and apply powder foundation. loreal mineral foundation is the best one for your case, because its really good for your skin and wont clog pores. i know the chap stick sounds weird, but it'll have all day hold.
