It's not an allergic reaction. This I know for a fact. So what's going on?
Large Scratch marks start appearing all over my neck, from what looks like a hand. AND IT'S NOT ME WHO'S DOING IT! Whenever I'm looking in a mirror and applying makeup or getting fixed up, this happens. I could be straightening my hair, putting on eye shadow, or just brushing my hair. And BAM! I look down at my neck in the mirror, and it looks like a hand has scratched my neck all over. No pain, just marks. My house isn't old, and has no possibility of obtaining ghosts. No one has ever died in my house either. So what is this??! It's whenever I'm in the mirror and dolling myself up.
Is there anyone in the past, famous or not, who used to scratch their neck a lot when getting ready, or whatever? I do believe in reincarnation.
I don't have any nervous habits, and never even scratch my arms or legs, much less my neck!
Please, I need whatever info you can give. And has anyone ever done this before? Anyone in the past? Anything is helpful, thanks.Scratch marks always appear on my neck when I apply makeup?!!?
Ghost?Scratch marks always appear on my neck when I apply makeup?!!?
I wonder if you just have sensitive skin, could be the heat of getting ready in a steamy bathroom or you could be allergic to your foundation. I would try a different brand of foundation, I have found bare minerals is the best for my sensitive skin and it hides a lot, so even if the red marks come back u can hide them with the foundation

I have stretch marks on my shoulders and i was wonderin could i put makeup on them to cover them up?
makeup like concealer and foundationI have stretch marks on my shoulders and i was wonderin could i put makeup on them to cover them up?
yes..... first wear a little foundation, then a light concealer... and for the final touch... some powder with a brush... not too much remember
have fun and good luckI have stretch marks on my shoulders and i was wonderin could i put makeup on them to cover them up?
there are some creams on the market that can lighten the stretch marks
Yeah, you can. You can also use Mederma, to reduce the stretch marks. That is an excellent scar remover.
No that would just look weird and your arms would look fake just like people's faces who put on too much foundation. There are special creams you can buy to fade them, but they're permanent.
Dermablend is a great brand of makeup made for concealing scars, patches, etc. Usually sold at Dillards and other department stores. I used it in my youth for bad acne and it worked well for me.
My littlest sister went from 5'6 one summer to 6'0 the next summer. She had stretch marks, she used dream matte mousse on them.

I'm bout to have a baby and i have a lot of stratch marks do u know what the bestbody makeup to use???????????
Coco butter is the best my sister and sister-in-law have had babies and they dont have any strech marks.. good luck with your babyI'm bout to have a baby and i have a lot of stratch marks do u know what the bestbody makeup to use???????????
Coco butter will help fade and prevent the stretch marks by keeping the skin soft and flexible. Other than that regular coverup will help for any purplish stretch marks (if their is any). But time and post pardom exercises does help alot as well as far as your body going back into place. In certain cases sometimes it never quite goes totally back (but that's just a small price to pay for having a wonderful joy added to your life). Congradulations on your new baby!

Steps on how to apply makeup to conceal dark pimple marks, and how to apply eye makeup? ?
i have little dark acne marks mostly on my cheeks and i want to learn how to apply makeup to conceal them ive only used makeup when i had to go to a big party once. i would really like to learn how to apply dark eyeliner so i can wear it throughout the day i think it looks awesome. if you know any steps or tips on how to apply concealer, bronzer, blush, eyeliner, mascara anything! than please help me out :) i want it to look natural not cake-y [if you know of any brands that are good let me know] i bought a concealer and ';finisher'; from MAC but i dont kmow what to do with them.
HELLLPPP!Steps on how to apply makeup to conceal dark pimple marks, and how to apply eye makeup? ?
MAC a concealer and ';finisher'; are great
buy
Foundation from chanel
eyeliner and eyeshadow from lancome
Lip Gloss and blush from forever
Translucent Powder and bronzer from Este lauder make-up
Nail Polish and Nail Polish Remover from nivea
-Eyebrow Pencils and mascara from lancome , make-up forever or pourjous
all are great
these the best things I have tried
then you ask on how to conceal dark pimple marks, then follow these steps
1- Wash your hands before handling your face. Dirt and oils on your hands will only aggravate the blemish.
2- choose a concealer a little lighter than your blemish for hiding darker marks.
3- Choose a masking cosmetic (which is thicker than concealer and has added pigment)
4- Apply the concealer or masking cosmetic over the blemish using your finger, an eye shadow brush or sponge.
5- Blend the edges with the surrounding skin, using a circular motion.
6- Set the masking cosmetic with a special setting powder, then apply oil-free foundation and powder on top.
last thing steps to apply a natural look make-up
1-Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than your foundation. Dot it on over any blemishes or under-eye circles and blend with your fingertips or a makeup sponge. If your concealer tends to cake, apply eye cream first.
2-Choose foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. Apply it in dots over the central part of your face, then blend it out with a makeup sponge or your fingertips until it covers your entire face
3- Use a loose or pressed powder to keep foundation and concealer on longer.
4-Do your eyebrows next. Use powdered eyebrow shadow on brows instead of pencil, which can often look unnatural. Apply it with a hard, slanted brush.
5- Choose three colors of eye shadow: light, medium and dark. Use the dark only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease and the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. There are many variations on eye shadow application techniques
6-Apply eyeliner. Use a cake eyeliner with a damp, thin liner brush, or an eyeliner pencil, and line the lower lid below the lashes. Line only the outer two-thirds of the lower lid, or all the way across if you're trying to achieve a darker look. Line all the way across the upper lid (just above the lash line and as close to the lashes as possible), or start the line where your lashes begin.
7- Apply mascara to upper and lower lashes, in two thin coats to avoid clumpiness. Choose brown mascara if your coloring is fair; black or brown-black works well for darker coloring. Or try a colored mascara such as navy or plum for fun, but don't go too bright if you want to be taken seriously.
8- Smile to find the apples of your cheeks, and apply blush to the apples or below, whichever you prefer. If you have to blend in blush, it's too bright.
9-Choose a lipstick color that's suited to your skin tone and that's perfect for your day look. You can mix colors and textures to suit your moods and your outfits
10 - Line lips after applying lipstick, not before. That way you won't end up with a dark circle of lip liner after your lipstick has worn off. Avoid combining very dark lip liner and pale lipstick.
Follow the steps in the order given, and remember to clean and moisturize your face before applying makeup.
I hope this will help
Steps on how to apply makeup to conceal dark pimple marks, and how to apply eye makeup? ?
To conceal any spots, use a colour that is 1-2 shades lighter and blend in very well. You can also use colour correctors.
You can visit my blog as I have some cool tips that may help you.
http://www.changingfacesbymay.blogspot.c鈥?/a>
Okayz..thast alot of requests...so i'll give u one usefull tip..got to youtube.com and search on how to do what u want it's really helpful..
get a green (yes green!) corrector stick. it's like concealer. dab a little bit on a red mark and then top it with a dab of regular concealer, then your usual foundation and red marks will be covered well. do not use too much of the concealers or it'll just look weird. the green cancels out red.
for purplish marks, get a yellow corrector stick. use the same way as above. yellow covers purple.
do not blend the correctors or concealers too much, or on any surface but the blemish. just dab on and pat to set.
use a medium coverage foundation (it ought to say that on bottle) and a light dusting of powder in the same shade. if you aren't sure what shades to buy, go to a mall and ask a rep at the makeup counters. their advice is free and they may even give you some tips.
use eyeliner sparingly. make sure the tip is sharp. the line you draw should not be thick. start at mid-eye, at lash line, and draw a thin line out just BARELY past the end of eye. use a neutral or black for most looks.
put mascara on as a thin coat. let dry completely. swipe on one more coat. i don't like the brush to be too wet, so sometimes i wipe off the wand. it can goop up if too wet.
i don't use bronzer, but if you do, use sparingly. too much is weird and orangey looking.
remember, practice makes perfect, experiment!!!

Even if you are not interested in purchasing their products (which I LOVE but they are very pricey and don't really fit into by budget these days), there are tips for problem areas, like under eyes, and also makeup application tips.
Now, as for the acne, the best solution is not to cover, but to prevent it. I can't tell you how much I love Proactiv. It is hands down the best acne treatment out there. If you are interested in trying that but don't want to join their ';club'; and get it shipped automatically and billed to a credit card, you can always find it on ebay and give it a try first to see if it is right for you. I bought mine off ebay for a few years before I finally broke down and just joined their club:

What kind of makeup would u use 2 hide stretch marks?
waterproofWhat kind of makeup would u use 2 hide stretch marks?
A thick one might help.Cream perhaps. Have you tried cocoa butter %26amp; other creams they've developed that help with that? And even witch hazel might help shrink some.
A fake suntan helps a lot too. Mary Kay is the best one of those I've tried, %26amp; I highly recommend it.What kind of makeup would u use 2 hide stretch marks?
Why are you trying to hide them? Is it from loosing weight, or having a baby? Those are natural occurances. Let me tell you, I didn't have them till I lost a bunch of weight. I know its hard to look at yourself in the mirror sometimes %26amp; believe you are beautiful. SO many things tell us we're not. I even do it. We are most critic of ourselves. Tell you what, are they really that bad? I've found that whgat helps curb your insecure areas, is talk to your girlfriends about it, we all have areas we want to change, and we all understand where the other is coming from. I worked in an adult video store. My self esteem at first flunctuated between very happy with me then not so much. The more I worked there, the more I loved me. Men just love women, and surprisingly to me, we sold the hell out of pron with regular looking girls, with flaws, with stretch marks, with meat on their bones. If this still doesn't help, I've heard of a product called MEDERMA, something about diminishing them. Also, try a jar of this stretch mark cream (for woman having babies) and it should be over by the cocoa butter in your local store. Haven't used it myself, but I hear it works. Until then, love yourself for who you are, and wear your flaws proudly, it makes us human.
Using a foundation will accent your imperfections. Because they light mark on your skin will only stand out against the darker mark, no matter how much foundation you use. You should use a cocoa butter cream, for long term results, however, I suggest for the short term leave it alone. Chances are no one will notice, most likely trying to cover them up will highlight them even more.
you should have used coco butter!
but anyways, um, foundation?Mini Scooter

I have marks on my body which is affecting my sex life as i dont wana take my clothes off. any makeup of help?
I am 28 years old and have been single nearly all my life as a result of this. I have really horrible, bruise like marks on my stomach and breasts which is affecting me having any relationship with guys. I have recenly been dating a lovely guy and i want things to go further but I dont have the confidence to take all my clothes off for him. so we make love in the dark or i keep my top on. Is there any kind of cover up make up to elp. im desperate and its really affecting my confidence. i really dont want to lose him over this,I have marks on my body which is affecting my sex life as i dont wana take my clothes off. any makeup of help?
if talking doesnt work, try dermablend it is made to cover up tatoos scars and marks. it can even cover port-wine birthmarks. it comes in a variety of colours and is water resistant so you can use it at the beach as well. all the best xI have marks on my body which is affecting my sex life as i dont wana take my clothes off. any makeup of help?
mac full coverage is made to cover up birth marks and scars so im sure it will cover marks on your body. i have really bad redness on my skin and it covers it really well
talk to him about it and tell him you dont feel too cpmfortable about it......
Hi, my niece was born with a really dark ';port wine'; birth mark which covered her right shoulder %26amp; chest.
This didn't bother her until she was in her teens %26amp; while searching through ebay I noticed some sample sizes of a product called ';DERMABLEND'; I ordered several different shades %26amp; she was so happy when she applied them. They covered up her dark red birth mark %26amp; the dermablend was also waterproof, so this really boosted her confidence as she could go swimming - something she avoided, as she was so concious that others were looking at her. (You just use soap %26amp; water to remove it).
The Dermablend, was a God send %26amp; it gave her the confidence to start living again, rather than covering up her body %26amp; becoming a recluse.
She also met a lovely lad who, was amazed that she had let this rule her life for so many years. When she finally revealed the birthmark he told her it was fine %26amp; that she didn't need make up. She now only wears dermablend on special occasions %26amp; she's amazed that it ruled her life for so long.
Please try it - you'll be so happy with the results %26amp; it'll make you feel 100% more confident with your man.
You are gonna have to tell him. Now that you have developed the relationship, you will probably find that he will not see your problem as anything to worry about. He is going to find out sooner or later, or you will lose him.
yeah hes obviously got with you for your personality so it shouldnt matter what you look like on the out side beauty is whats on the inside not the outside so if you dont feel comfortable with him are you sure hes right for you?
you have a few options. you could dress up for him. that way you dont have to take your clothes off or you could try using a self tan cream to see if it evens out any blemishes. i dont think you should use make up to cover it up because it'll just rub off eventually. in all honesty i dont think he would care if he saw it, he will have other things to look at and if he really likes you then it wouldnt matter. i think you should just go with the flow and not let this ruin your life. you have to learn to live with what you've got and as soon as you accept it the better your life will be. i hope you find a solution to your problem and enjoy your romance.
I understand exactly how you feel. I had very bad acne as a teen and young adult and even today...at 59, when I look in the mirror, I don't enjoy what I see looking back...all I see are scars.
But, when I look back, I can honestly say that somehow, I dated and later married girls (only one marriage) that most guys would say: ';How the heck did he get her?'; When people say looks aren't everything, it's true...and I know that's not what you want to hear...I didn't either as I didn't feel it solved my problem. But, it was me that had the problem...not my dates or my wife.
Get some makeup and/or try some of the treatments that are mentioned above...anything that helps will help make you feel better. But, when you're at the stage of a relationship that this is turning into a problem (and believe me, if he hasn't seen you nude with the lights on, then he knows there's a problem too) you need to just sit down and come out with it. If he's really making love to you ( vs. you just having sex) then he won't care.
if this guy really does love u im sure that he wudnt care bout this n wud still love you jst the way u are. if none of the products that ppl hv suggested wrk i suggest going to ur gp.
so sorry to hear you are suffering like that.. if this guy really likes you, you have nothing to worry about and dont need to cover them and he will be looking much deeper than marks on your skin. Maybe talk to him about it and i bet he will put you at ease as i'm sure you're way more uncomfortable about it than he will ever be.. noone is perfect and we all hate different things about our body.. you are what you are so learn to live with it rather than hide it.. i'm sure theres many nice things about you the guy will be focusing on! Good luck x x x x
do u mean stretch marks? i have a few on my hips nd it never affected me, its just how it is. u need to accept ur body nd luv it.:D i use stri vectrin its a bit pricey but i see the difference. remember if he likes u he wont mind. dont think its just u who has body 'issues' guys are self conscious too. good luck.
have you told him about the marks? if not talk to him im sure if he cares enough it wont bother him if it does he wasn't worth it in the first place, but if you are that bothered about them you can get camoufage make up from the red cross, it was recommended to me by a plastic surgeon who operated on my leg which after a skin graft left me severely scard
I am sorry to hear of this. But if your boyfriend loves you as you say then he will not mind. Please try to be confident and take things in a slower pace. I am sure there are products on the market that will cover up your marks. But unless you use on a permanent basis you will forever have this problem. I feel truly sorry for you %26amp; I hop[e things will improve in the future. Kindness will help to restore your confidence
dont wory i think is not that much important if u ok on other parts of body so god bless u
Hi
IGA makes a heavy cover up and it is on the internet. IT even stays on when you sweet also go into a plastic surgeons office they have over the counter product like obagee that can help fade this I think it is called mongolian spotting and my son has it but it doesn't bother him. Try putting mongolian spotting in the search box on yahoo and see if there is anything else you can do to treat it.
Lammy
Be straight with him tell him that you have a hangup about it, if he really likes you then he will not give a darn about it and think that you are beautiful no matter what, i have horrible streatchmarks and i hate them but my boyfreind dont seem to care about them as he loves me for who i am, i have actually caught him a couple of times stroking the ones on my hips i asked him WHY? and he said becasue they are really smooth. Lol
Have you not heard of Bio-Oil?
Its about 拢9 from boots. It might help even out the tone on your skin. Otherwise, have you not been to your doctor?
if this bloke really cares about you, then it shouldn't matter about what your body looks like.it's who you are on the inside that counts, not the outside.
It sounds like you might have stretch marks - cocoa butter cream can help this (try Palmers), or in places like Boots and Superdrug you can buy special stretch mark reducing cream, it's usually aimed at pregnant ladies.
Tips on reducing stretch marks:
* STEP 1: Brush your skin with a loofah or skin brush when you shower to stimulate circulation.
* STEP 2: Massage cocoa butter into the stretch marks.
* STEP 3: Use vitamin E oil on your stretch marks. Massage it into your skin after a shower.
* STEP 4: Talk to your doctor about using tretinoin cream on stretch marks. It is available by prescription only.

talk to him about it and tell him you dont feel too cpmfortable about it......
* STEP 5: Eat foods high in vitamins A, E and C (see Related eHows), or take supplements in addition to your diet. However, pregnant women should avoid taking more than 25,000 IU of vitamin A.
* STEP 6: Add foods or supplements to your diet that are high in zinc (see Related eHow), which is good for the skin, and silica (beets, brown rice, bell peppers, soybeans, leafy green vegetables and whole grains), which helps form collagen, the supporting fibers in the skin.
* STEP 7: Eat foods that contain essential fatty acids, which help make cell walls. Essential fatty acids can be found in many vegetables, vegetable oils and fish oils.
